Eight villas, one shared heart
Cas Abou Resort is a small, walled development on the dry west end of Curaçao, a short drive from the white sand of Cas Abou beach. Eight single-storey villas sit along an oval drive, each turned so its terrace and pool face away from its neighbours.
The architecture is deliberately of the island: whitewashed walls, deep covered verandas, wooden louvred shutters, and clay tile roofs that lift to an open beamed ceiling inside. Between the villas sits the shared pool, with a raised spa, sun loungers and a thatched palapa.
The villa
Single storey, open to the terrace
One design, eight times. Living and dining in one open volume under an exposed beamed roof, a walnut kitchen alongside, with sliding doors onto the covered veranda and the private pool.
Living
The roof is left open to the ridge, so the main room reads far taller than its footprint. Sliding doors run the width of the terrace side; with them open, the veranda becomes part of the room.

Kitchen
An L-shaped kitchen in walnut with a white stone worktop, built-in oven, induction hob and a tall cabinet column. The beamed ceiling runs through from the living room.
Sleeping
Two bedrooms, both with the same beamed ceiling and timber louvres that let the trade wind through without the sun. Two bathrooms, finished in warm terracotta plaster with walk-in showers.
Outside
Every villa has its own pool, set into a walled terrace with planting along the edge. The veranda is deep enough to keep the interior shaded through the afternoon and to sit out in the rain.

On top of every villa’s private pool: a large shared pool with a raised spa and waterfalls, sun loungers and a thatched palapa for shade, in the middle of the eight villas.

Cas Abou
On the west end of Curaçao, in the open country behind Cas Abou — one of the island's best beaches, with white sand and calm, clear water. The bays of Porto Marie and Playa Lagun are minutes away by car.
This side of the island is dry and quiet: low scrub, long views, and far fewer cars than the south coast. Willemstad is about forty minutes away.
